More and more I find myself taking first turn with my Necrons- if I can, especially in annihilation missions. First turn lets me get my lord in position, it allows me a first strike with my destroyers and monolith. Sure it could epic fail, but more often then not it allows me to pop a rhino or two getting my opponent on foot and slowing them down a bit. 100% first turn if it is dawn of war so I can solar pulse.
